The Dundalk Simon’s Virtual Sleep Out

The Dundalk Simon Sleep Out is going virtual again this year. The annual event, which usually sees crowds bedding down in Market Square under the stewardship of our loyal volunteers, will take place at a social distance this year, right in your own back garden.

Participants are invited to sleep out at home to help raise vital funds for Dundalk Simon Community. The charity, which provides emergency accommodation and key working to vulnerable adults experiencing homelessness in Dundalk, has been hit hard by the economic fallout from the Covid-19 pandemic, with many traditional fundraising events being postponed or cancelled. Now, with Christmas fast approaching, Dundalk Simon is appealing to its loyal band of local supporters to get involved and give what they can.
