Transitional Housing

Dundalk Simon Community currently provides transitional housing for people who are moving out of homeless accommodation, such as the Community House, but may still be in need of extra supports.

Transitional housing is for a period of 18 months. During this time, residents can engage with housing services to make sure they are settling in comfortably, managing their responsibilities and preparing for a future of independent living. The experience of living independently teaches life skills such as; paying bills, cooking and cleaning.
