Do you want to get involved in fundraising for Dundalk Simon Community but you’re not sure where to start? Look no further than a Sing for Simon event. Not only are these a great way to raise much-needed funds for our services, but they’re also a lot of fun.
Hosting a Sing for Simon event gives you the opportunity to raise money for the most vulnerable in our society. You can organise an event in your local area or choose from one of our established locations.
You can arrange your Sing for Simon fundraiser with these five easy steps:
- Get in touch with our Events team by contacting events@dubsimon.ie.
- To set up your donation page, go to https://www.idonate.ie/event/singforsimon24 and click Start Fundraising.
- Make sure you have permission to hold your fundraiser. In some cases, you may need to apply for a permit. If you’re unsure if you will need a permit, ask our Events team for advice.
- Spread the word! Let people know about your fundraiser. Some great ways of doing this include distributing flyers, creating posters, and promoting your event on social media. Make sure to tag us in social posts and we can share your fundraiser on our stories.
- If you need help managing your donations, ask us for some donation buckets. We may also have a ‘tap to donate’ machine available, and possibly even some Santa hats too.
